Port Of Baltimore Finishes Dredging For New Container Ship Location
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — It's another step closer to more ships docking at the Port of Baltimore.
The port finished dredging this week to create a second container berth at its Seagirt Marine Terminal. This will allow the port to hold two ultra-large ships simultaneously by the end of this year.
Gov. Larry Hogan said this will help grow business and generate thousands of jobs for the Baltimore region.
