The female passenger, who was being interviewed on Sunday, told police that Rabain said, "This guy is going to kill someone," moments before turning on his lights.

On Sunday afternoon, authorities released red light camera video showing the police cruiser and multiple vehicles driving through the intersection at Mandan Road just before the accident. Authorities are hoping that those drivers, including a dark mini van, may be able to provide more details about the crash.

"There's nothing indicating that this officer did anything wrong," said Chief Mark Magaw.

Police say Officer Rabain was driving a 2006 Crown Victoria, which also had a broken dashboard camera.

Officer Rabain was on the force less than two years. He leaves behind a 3-year-old.

Prince George's County Police are thanking the community for the tremendous outpouring of support for one of their own.

A GoFundMe account has been created in the officer's name.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
