Police Officer Shoots Man In Prince George's Co.
BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a Prince George's County officer has shot a man who was involved in a domestic dispute in the Bladensburg area.
Police say they were called to the 3500-block of 55th Avenue about 8 p.m. Sunday.
According to WJLA-TV, authorities say they encountered a man with a knife and that the man lunged at an officer. Police say the officer shot the man twice.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
