Police ID Worker Who Died At Md. Quarry
KEYMAR, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is releasing the name of a man who died at a gravel quarry near Keymar.
Cpl. Jennifer Bailey said Monday John Gaither, 35, of Woodsboro was found dead Friday evening at the Laurel Sand & Gravel Quarry where he worked.
She says deputies and fire-and-rescue workers responded at 7:40 p.m. to a report of a man trapped inside a piece of machinery.
Bailey says police are still investigating the death.
