Police ID Slain Hospital Employee

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Police have identified a hospital employee who was slain while on the job.

Montgomery County police say Roosevelt Brockington Jr., 40, of Lusby was the victim of Saturday's violence at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda. Brockington had worked at Suburban since 2006.

Police have released few details about the slaying, which led to the hospital being locked down for four hours while officers searched for suspects. Police got word of the attack on Brockington around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. He was found suffering from trauma to the upper body and died at the scene. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

Investigators haven't determined a motive in the slaying and haven't identified any suspects.
