Pedestrian Found Dead After Hit-and-run
CLARKSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County say a man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in Clarksburg.
It happened about 12:20 p.m. Friday on Sweetspire Drive. Police called for a report of a pedestrian hit by a car found a man dead in the road.
About 25 minutes later, a person called 911 and said the car and driver involved in the pedestrian crash was at a home in Germantown. Police found the car and driver there.
Police did not identify the victim or the driver. The crash is under investigation.
