Passion For Baltimore And Baseball
We had Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr on the Ed Norris show this morning. One thing that came through immediately was Cal's passion for both Baltimore and baseball. Cal confirmed to us that he would like one day to get involved with the Orioles in a front office capacity, but not until his kids are out of high school (for the record, Cals daughter is in college and his son has two years of high school left). I said it yesterday and I'll say it again today, getting Cal involved with the ballclub is a step in the the right direction.
