O's Woes

What a team starts a season struggling like the Baltimore Orioles have started this season, there are many reasons given.  Most of them are not necessarily wrong, but at the end of the day, to me it comes down to one thing.  The Orioles have scored 20 runs in seven games.  Period.  End of story.  They are averaging less than three runs per game.  You are not going to win many baseball games in this day and age scoring at such an anemic pace.  Hell you weren't going to win a lot 40 years ago scoring so little, but today its that much more important to score runs.  Don't get me wrong, Mike Gonzalez has struggled mightily and that hasn't helped, but if you score more you win more.
