O's seal the victory in fashion

First it looked like the game would be scoreless through nine. Then it looked as if Millwood would throw a perfecto. Then it looked as if the O's were going to get absolutely blown out.

Then the O's put up a run in the fourth.

Then Corey Patterson Homered in the eighth.

Then Luke Scott hit a grand slam in the eighth to give the O's the lead.

Then Patterson made a tremendous throw in the ninth followed by a tremendous play at the plate from Matt Weiters to save the game and seal the 6-5 win.

It was a true all-around effort by the Orioles from start to finish and from the mound, to the field, to the plate. Dave Trembley feels great about his ballclub right now, the guys in the clubhouse are on a high and the O's may have gotten out of that dreadful slump that has bothered them like a bad rash all season.
