O's complete sweep of Rangers

How about them O's? The Orioles completed a four-game sweet over the AL West leading Texas Rangers on Sunday behind a solid outing from rookie Jake Arrieta marking the first four-game road sweep for the franchise in 34  years.  Arrieta's outing marked the second straight impressive start from an O's rookie -- Chris Tillman, recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to replace the injured Kevin Millwood, took a no-hitter into the seventh on Saturday in Baltimore's 5-1 win over the Rangers.

Backed by the offense, Arrieta pitched with a small three-run cushion like a veteran. with some help from the bullpen, Arrieta earned his third win of the season by holding the Rangers to just one run on Sunday including an 0-for-4 night from Vlad Guerrero. Corey Patterson sparked the O's offense with a 1-for-5, two RBI afternoon and Miguel Tejada hit a solo home run in the ninth to solidify the 3-1 victory that sealed the sweep.

The O's will now enjoy four days of rest (excluding All Star Ty Wigginton) before returning for a 10-game homestand against the Jays, Rays and Twins.
