Orange, Red, Green Lines Affected By Weekend Work

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says shuttle buses will replace trains on a part of the orange line this weekend, leading to delays of 20 minutes for customers using the bus.

Metro says that beginning Friday evening at 10 p.m. customers traveling between East Falls Church and West Falls Church will have to take a bus. In addition, red line trains will share a single track between Takoma and Forest Glen and between Van Ness and Friendship Heights, also leading to delays of 20 minutes.

On the green line, trains will share a single track between Greenbelt and Prince George's Plaza, and Metro says customers
should allow between 10 and 15 minutes additional travel time.

Yellow line trains will operate between Huntington and Mount Vernon Square only.
