Opening Day/last day of school

Today is the Home Opener for The Orioles.  Opening Day is always awesome.  Feels a bit like the anticipation of Christmas - except on a sunny Spring day.  Everyone in the office is playing hooky from work today.  I hope your office is no different.

I'm the last member of The Ed Norris Show still in the building.  Everyone else bolted!  Maynard is off to play gigs at The Hard Rock.  Ed is on his way to Sliders.  Ken will meet him there after he's done working out, of course.  Even on the biggest day of his year, Ken Weinman will not stop working out!  That is how dedicated he is to his new 90lb lighter life.  Good for him.

Me?  Like I said, opening day is always a holiday.  It's like the last half day of school before summer break.  I'll celebrate like I do most non-religious holidays...with a few cold ones.  This tradition may have started on the last day of school many years ago but I'll never tell.

So, you know where we'll all be.  I'll make it to Sliders.  But, in keeping with tradition, a (former) cop will likely escort me out of the premise.  Thanks, Boss (Ed).  See you on the sidewalk.  I'll be that guy staggering around in the orange shirt.
