On The Ravens Case: Deep thoughts by Channing Crowder

While much of the talk of the Ravens 26-10 win over the Miami Dolphins Sunday will be about the game, and then the apparent "spit-gate" between Channing Crowder and LeRon McClain, Crowder left us with another deep thought from him.

Perhaps one of the better ones so far in his career.

Back in 2007, as the Dolphins were preparing to travel to London to play against the Giants, Crowder admitted that he did not know anything about London, or that they spoke English in London. However, here is the gem out of all of those comments," I swear to God. I don't know what nothing is. I know Italy Looks like a boot. I learned that." Then  it got better, "I know London Fletcher. We did a football camp together, so I know him. That's the closest thing I know to London. He's black so I'm sure he's not from London. I'm sure that's a coincidental name."

Then Sunday following the game, Crowder was commenting about Le Ron McClain allegedly spitting in his face and tried to use a historical reference that, well let's just say did not fit.

Crowder alleges that he tried to tell officials about the spitting situation, and was told that they did not see it. Then according the Crowder,'they said something about they let Karlos Dansby get away with a facemask the play before,to which Crowder responded "who the (expletive) cares? A guy just spit in my face! I don't give a damn about Karlos pulling somebody's facemask. Like they didn't see Chad Henne get hit twice when he slid. Yeah, a little Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank."

A media member then asked Crowder for clarification on the Anne Frank reference,"Who was that? Is that the blind girl? Helen Keller. I don't know who the (expletive) Anne Frank is, I'm mad right now, and not as swift as I usually am.

The Stevie Wonder reference is understandable, and we assume that he meant to say Helen Keller, instead of referencing Anne Frank who was a Jewish victim of the Holocaust.
