OJ's Suit Has Found New Home

See the suit in that photo?  It's been the subject of HUGE controversy.

It's an Armani suit that O.J. SIMPSON wore when he was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife NICOLE and her friend RON GOLDMAN has found a home.

There's been a legal battle going on over it, and a judge a few weeks ago ordered that the suit be sent to the Smithsonian as part of American legal history- but the Smithsonian didn't want it.  So a search for a new home has been on.

And now the orpahn suit has found a home and it's pretty close by.

It's going to a place called the Newseum in Washington, D.C., which, according to its website, offers visitors, quote, "an experience that blends five centuries of news history with up-to-the-second technology and hands-on exhibits."

I've been to the Newseum, and it's a pretty cool spot- a little pricey and def not one the little kids are going to like, but there are some really great exhibits and  photos.

Mike Gilbert . . . a former manager of O.J.'s who has the suit . . . will deliver it in person next week.  He says, quote, "I hope it will be displayed in a way that will help people ponder the legal system and celebrity.  I'm happy that it will go somewhere where people can see it and remember where they were that day in history."

Gilbert had been battling over ownership of the suit with Ron Goldman's father, Fred, for the past 13 years.  Both sides finally agreed to donate it to a museum so that nobody would profit from it.
