Oh NO He Didn't

With the recent reports suggesting Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson was involved in a not so friendly discussion with another gentleman at an establishment in Austin Texas, only one statement comes to mind and that's that some guys just don't get it. A heated discussion is only human, but if you're Cedric Benson sitting there at Annie's West Bar, there is absolutely no way you allow this to escalate into blows being thrown, do you? Well, Cedric felt a little differently, and unfortunately for him, he has once again put a stain on an image he's tried so very hard to repair. There are a hand full of players around the NFL that can't afford to have their names associated with any of these incidents. The short list consists of Michael Vick, Brandon Marshall, Pac-Man Jones, Albert Haynesworth, Ben Roethlisberger and the aforementioned Cedric Benson. The true happenings at Annie's West Bar have yet to be discovered, as the accounts have been conflicting, but when they are Cedric better hope they reflect nicely on him. The Chicago Bears grew sick of his actions, the public may become bored with his repeated offenses, and most importantly for Cedric, the Cincinnati Bengals may be uninterested in continuing their relationship with him. The organization historically has always supported their view of providing second chances, but as with any other franchise, I'd assume they don't like to be embarrassed. With the offseason signings of the "Felony Jones Brothers" Adam and Matt, the Bengals have again showed their desire to rehabilitate players while signed, but may not want to deal with the baggage a new arrest of an already signed player would bring. In Cedric's defense, both literally and figuratively, his claim is that he was the victim and not the aggressor. Once you swap those words a story completely changes shape. Which word best describes his role in that altercation? I don't Know, but the fact that Cedric, knowing his past, has put himself in the predicament to where the answer to this question will provide the outcome, is mind-blowing.
