Notes from Thursday's Ravens practice

- Special Teams coach Jerry Rosburg said "we MIGHT at some point see Josh Wilson in the return game." He was, however, impressed with the job Jalen Parmele did on kick returns and thought Tom Zbikowski showed improvement on punt returns.

- According to defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, nose tackle Terrence Cody had "a great" week of practice. It will be decided at the end of the week if he will play on Sunday.

- Greg Mattison stressed the importance of his defense inducing turnovers and Terrell Suggs said after practice today that those are the plays that win games.

- LB Jason Phillips will be looked upon to fill in for the injured Tavares Gooden, who plans on getting a second opinion on his dislocated shoulder. Coach Harbaugh said Gooden will be out for "a few weeks" but conflicting reports say he will be out from 4-6.

- According to Mattison, CB Cary Williams, who just finished his two-game suspension, is more likely to be used on Special Teams this weekend rather than defense.

- There are no new medical updates on Jared Gaither's back. Until further notice, Yanda will start at right tackle and Chris Chester at right guard.

Did not practice today:
Stallworth (foot), Gaither (back), Gooden (shoulder)
