New Sheriff Takes Over In Worcester County
SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) -- Worcester County got its first new sheriff in 12 years with the swearing in of Reggie Mason.
Mason, who was elected in November when Charles Martin didn't run for re-election, was sworn in this week.
Mason, a Republican, is a 28-year sheriff's office veteran, most recently serving as chief deputy.
He vowed to work to make the county safe.
