MVS NFL Power Rankings: ALLISON RANKS! Week #8

ALLISON RANKS!: Week #8

1. New England Patriots- Tom Brady won his 25th consecutive home game on Sunday.  Their mistake free football has lead them to the best record in football.

2. Baltimore Ravens- As the Ravens rested, most of the teams ahead of them fell.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers-  Welcome to 2nd place in the AFC North.  The Steelers gave up 14, 4th quarter points to lose their place atop the division.

4 Indianapolis Colts- The Colts have finally regained sole custody of the AFC South division with their dismantling of the Houston Texans Monday night.

5. New York Jets – The Jets offense forgot to come off their bye.

6. Atlanta Falcons- I think the Falcons will show the Buccaneers this weekend who the best team in the NFC really is.

7. New York Giants-  The biggest news to come out of Giants camp this past week was that Eli is going to be a dad in the offseason.  Hopefully for Giants fans, the offseason begins in February, not any sooner.

8.  Miami Dolphins-  As long as the Dolphins play their 8 road games, they'll     end up with at least a 500 record.

9. Green Bay Packers- The wind at the Meadowlands wreaked havoc on both QBs Sunday, but Aaron Rodgers team was able to capitalize on the Jets mistakes to win a big one on the road.

10.  New Orleans Saints – There were plenty of Saints marching on Halloween night.  The Saints defense was in Big Ben's ugly face all night and really disrupted his rhythm on offense.

11.   Tennessee Titans- Emerging receiver Kenny Britt was hurt early and it hurt the Titans chances of winning.  Vince Young also suffered a setback and will need the bye week to get back on track.

12.   Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Raheem Morris has claimed for weeks that the Bucs are the best team in the NFC.  I can't crown them yet, but they've definitely surpassed everyone's expectations.

13.   Kansas City Chiefs- The Chiefs needed every second allowed to pull off a win against the 0-7 Buffalo Bills.

14.  Houston Texans- The Texans made it closer in the 2nd half, but the Colts clearly showed the Texans who's boss in the South.

15. Philadelphia Eagles- We'll see if Michael Vick handles himself better around Colts than he does around dogs.

16.  Chicago Bears- The Bears get their shot at Buffalo next week.  Will the Bills force their 3rd consecutive overtime?

Bottom Feeder:  Mike Shanahan:  I thought Rex Grossman gave us the best chance to win in the 2 minute drill??? Or, Donovan McNabb wasn't in good enough cardiovascular shape to handle the 2 minute drill???  Regardless of the reasoning, that was a very strange move that did not work out well.
