MVS NFL Power Rankings: Allison Ranks! Week #7

ALLISON RANKS! Week 7

1.New York Jets- With the Yankees not going to the World Series, everyone in NY can now turn their attention to the Jets.  Can they handle the pressure?

2.Pittsburgh Steelers-  I know all the Steelers fans believe that you create your own luck, but the Steelers are one of the luckiest teams in football, this year and every year.

3. New England Patriots- New England flew to the west coast and was able to squeak out a win against an underachieving Chargers team.  They relinquished a big lead, but were able to hold on to move to 5-1 and a share of the AFC East lead.

4.Baltimore Ravens- On the day that the Ravens honored their Super Bowl Championship team from 2000 and that stellar defense, this Ravens team forgot how to play defense.  They didn't cover anybody, didn't rush the quarterback and certainly didn't tackle.

5.Atlanta Falcons-  Ocho Cinco spoke louder off the field while Roddy White spoke the loudest on the field.  He finished over 200 receiving yards on the day.

6.Indianapolis Colts- The Colts are banged up and the key injuries might really hurt them, but this week, they had a bye and in turn didn't do anything to jeopardize their spot.

7.Tennessee Titans- Has Kerry Collins found the fountain of youth or do the Titans just find ways to score?  Also, their red zone defense has been excellent all year long.

8.New York Giants- The Giants defense has knocked out 4 opposing QBs so far this season.

9. Houston Texans- Strong-side linebacker Brian Cushing, freshly back from his suspension for performance enhancing drugs will replace the injured DeMeco Ryans at inside linebacker when the Texans step on the field again against their rival, the Colts.

10. Kansas City Chiefs- The Chiefs have the league's top rushing attack and tacked on another 236 yards in the rout of the Jags.

11.  Washington Redskins- DeAngelo Hall had 4 interceptions Sunday and still got no respect from Jay Cutler after the game.  Hall had 4 family members in the stands and was able to dedicate an INT to each of them.

12. Philadelphia Eagles- The Eagles had a lead over the Titans at halftime before completely crumbling in the second half.  Looks like Michael Vick will regain his starting job this week.

13.  Miami Dolphins-  Too bad the Dolphins don't play at Joe Robbie Stadium anymore, because the Dolphins were "Robbied" this past weekend of a victory.

14. Green Bay Packers – The Lambeau crowd booed Favre throughout the game and cheered their beat-up team and Favre's successor to a much needed victory.

15.  New Orleans Saints – A home loss to the Browns? Can't happen if they want to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

16.  Chicago Bears- Jay Cutler played like the Jay Cutler we got used to last year and again, that's the worst offensive line in football.

Bottom Feeder:  The Dallas Cowboys-  It just keeps getting worse for the Cowboys and without Tony Romo, it looks just about hopeless that this team will get to play on its home turf in the Super Bowl.
