Sorry folks, I usually post ALLISON RANKS! on Tuesday or Wednesday. My schedule was kinda hectic this week and it got away from me...better late than never, huh? Hey, let us know what you think about the rankings and please do your own Top 5 or Top 10 and send 'em my way... - BULLDOG
ALLISON RANKS! - Week 4
Redemption! I'm not sure what order these rankings should be in, but I kept moving the teams around and this is how it all shook out…Let me know what you think - Allison
1.Baltimore Ravens – Even I didn't believe one week would make such a difference here, but the Ravens get an extra point for being the object of my affection. Flacco silenced his doubters for at least one week as the Ravens won their first game in Pittsburgh since 2006.
2. New York Jets- Rex's approach of taking big name guys from 3 years ago and running them through the fountain of youth seems to working. LT ran like he was 21 years old, not 31 years old on Sunday.
3. New England Patriots- Tom Brady and Bill Belichick won their 100th game together Monday night, and the first team to score a rush TD, pass TD, punt return for a TD, blocked field goal
4. Pittsburgh Steelers- Big Ben's going to get a much warmer reception with his return on Monday than he would've if the Steeler's would've gone 4-0 without him.
5. Green Bay Packers – The Packers fell asleep halfway through the Lions game on Sunday and needed to hold off a late game surge to avoid a very bad loss in the NFC North.
6. Atlanta Falcons- The Falcons haven't been winning pretty, but this is not a beauty contest.
7. New Orleans Saints – The only place the Saints are marching right now is to the trainer's room.
8. San Diego Chargers – Antonio Gates is a machine. He caught his 500th pass on Sunday and finished with 144 yards and 2 TDs.
9. Indianapolis Colts- The Colts need to get Peyton some help.
10. Houston Texans- The Texans put their star running back Arian Foster on a 15 minute timeout for disciplinary reasons, but put him in in time to spark a 31-21 victory.
11. Kansas City Chiefs- The Chiefs are still undefeated. Let's see what happens when they take on the Colts this week.
12. Miami Dolphins- Chad Henne almost tripled Tom Brady's production Monday night, but the Dolphins special teams completely fell apart.
13. Chicago Bears- That was the worst offensive line play I've ever observed. If I wanted to sack Jay Cutler, I could've.
14. Denver Broncos-The Broncos have completely abandoned Mike Shanahan's run first philosophy and adapted Josh McDaniels' pass first approach, which led them to victory at Tennessee on Sunday.
15. Tennessee Titans- Chris Johnson was held under 100 yards for the second time already this season resulting in 2 Titan's losses.
16. Minnesota Vikings- They still have Adrian Peterson and a good defense and nobody else won this spot, so they moved up by having a bye.
Bottom Feeder: San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers could've run out the clock for a big win in Atlanta on Sunday, but they didn't and now they're 0-4. Maybe they can redeem themselves against a Vick-less Eagles team this week.
