Most Indispensable-AFC South

This next division may be one of the tougher ones in the NFL as it includes 2 of the better offenses in the league in the Colts and the Texans and a team with the most dangerous offensive weapon in the league in the Titans. Speaking of that weapon, he may be one of the most indispensable players in the entire league….

 Tennessee Titans

 Scouts Inc-Chris Johnson-RB

 My Pick:

I won't be foolish enough to go anywhere else here but with Chris Johnson. Chris was voted the most indispensable player in the league on the aforementioned Scouts Inc list and was voted so for good reason. Chris Johnson, who was once described as having "getting away from the cops speed" has just that and is a threat to take it to the end zone on every play. He's one of the most electrifying players in the league and can put it in the end zone from anywhere on the field. Without scaring defenses with that element, you'll be able to key in on Vince Young who is the best on his feet with the ball. Though Kenny Britt is emerging as a solid go to receiver, he won't be enough to keep defenses at ease.

 Indianapolis Colts

 Scouts Inc-Dwight Freeney

 My Pick:

Another obvious pick as this may be one of the few on this list with actual proof to support it. The Colts best pass rusher and quite possibly the best rusher in the league played with a sprained ankle in the Super Bowl and through the first half had 1 sack with a few pressures. After the long halftime show his ankle stiffened up and he was unable to play with the same intensity. Drew Brees finished the night 32-39 on his way to a Super Bowl title. A healthy Dwight Freeney doesn't let a quarterback finish the game with 7 incompletions. The Super Bowl loss made it the 2nd time in 3 years that a Freeneyless Colts had their season ended because of the lack of pressure on the quarterback.

 Houston Texans

 Scouts Inc-Andre Johnson-WR

 My Pick:

Andre Johnson is the one and only choice here. Andre is the best receiver in the league, on an offense that moves the ball through the air. Matt Schaub passed for the most yards in the NFL last year, and without Andre Johnson downfield getting open the offense may rank in the bottom half instead of the upper half.

 Jacksonville Jaguars

 Scouts Inc-Maurice Jones Drew

 My Pick:

This may be the only division in the league where me and Scouts Inc agreed on every pick as I'll have to do the same here and say Maurice Jones Drew. I'd take it even further and say Maurice Jones Drew is the most indispensable player wearing a Jaguars uniform. The team runs the football and have no valid option at receiver and with a mediocre quarterback in David Garrard, they'll have to continue to be a running team. Maurice Jones Drew is also a fantastic catcher out of the backfield and without that weapon, Garrard will get absolutely NO respect from opposing defenses.

Next Week: One more Division to go as I tackle the NFC South
