Most Hated...Cow?

Well, actually, it's a BULL!  And, when Steve Davis (guest hosting for Ed), Ken Weinman, Forbes magazine, Rich in the control room, and many callers announced their picks of 'most hated current athletes'...I had few choices left. 

This morning we spoke of 'Most Hated (currently affiliated) Athletes of All Time.'  Well, 'hate' is a bit harsh.  I don't 'hate' anyone.  Especially an athlete I never met.  But, I'll play the game and give a few opinions.  Unfortunately, after EVERYONE made their choices this morning on The Ed Norris Show, I had very few left to choose from.  You see, all the 'good' hates were already accounted for.  So, I had to go deep and pull out a shocker. 

Reggie Jackson was not a nice guy when I met him.  But, in all fairness the man had not slept in 36 hours AND he is not currently affiliated with a team.  So, Mr. October is out. 

Wayne Gretzky - Yeah, the great one.  I know he's great.  But, he was waaay to0 protected by the league. A cherry-picker.  Still not enough to hate. 

Joey Porter?  Not a fan.  But, live & let live - unless you are the little pony that his dog once mauled.  Besides, someone did almost kill Joey outside a Denver bar back in 2003. 

Big Ben?  Yeah, he's on everyone's list.  So, he cannot be on mine. 

Big Papi?  Everyone says he's a nice guy.  So, it must be me.  Right?

Charles Barkley.  YES.  That's the one.  I can hate him!  He's always disparaging white people.  But, look who he's married to...so, it can't be true.  Again, must be me.  Besides, I met him at the Olympics in Atlanta.  Nice guy.

Well, those were the last folks left after everyone picked their 'most hated' this morning.  Not much for me to work with.  Unless I go to the 'snotlocker'.  The gates of PBR!!!!  Professional Bull Riding. 

Yeah, the big bull has a side career as a musician but he's ranked 46th in the PBR.  He's been ridden a complete 8 seconds 14 of 19 times this year.  He's no 'Chicken On A Chain' I tell you.  I knew Chicken.  He was the real deal.  I'm talking about 'Soulja Boy.'

Now, Soulja?  Just good marketing.  Rap albums, rodeos, etc.  The top money bull in the PBR.  He's no good anymore but gets a lot of attention.  High stud fees.  I hate him. You can tell by the photo that his confidence is shot.  Just look at his face.  Well, OK, I don't care for him.  Alright, he's not that bad.  I can't hate him.  I never met the bull.
