More Tickets Made Available To See Pope Francis In Philadelphia
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Thousands of free tickets are being made available online Wednesday to people who want to see Pope Francis during his visit to Philadelphia.
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia says 10,000 tickets will be available Wednesday at 4 p.m. for the September 26 closing festival of the World Meeting of Families on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Another 10,000 tickets will be available Wednesday at 8 for the Pope's September 27 Mass on the parkway.
Tickets for both events will be available by clicking here on a first-come, first-served basis. People are limited to four tickets each.
The 10,000 free tickets made available Tuesday for the Pope's September 26 speech at the Independence Mall were snapped up within two minutes.
Some were later sold online; the archdiocese says it can't stop the unsanctioned ticket sales.
