Millwood looks sharp vs. Red Sox
Kevin Millwood has already matched up against James Shields, Felix Hernandez and Phil Hughes this season... so facing Josh Beckett should be nothing less than a walk in the park, right? Maybe not, but that's the way he's making it look. With just a one-run lead here in the sixth inning, Millwood has held the Red Sox to just one run (a solo HR from Jason Varitek) and three hits. But more important, he's pitched effectively and has done what he does best -- give length. Hopefully for O's fans he can keep the bullpen in their seats for another couple of innings.
