Metro: Power Problem Affecting 3 Lines

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says three train lines are being affected by a power problem and that customers should be prepared for delays.

Metro says the problem began around 4 p.m. Thursday and that it is affecting the blue, orange and silver lines. Train service has been temporarily suspended on portions of the lines.

A Metro spokesman says the transit agency isn't sure what caused the problem but hopes to have it fixed shortly.
