Md. Woman Pleads Guilty In Child Pornography Plot
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Parkville woman has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce child pornography.
Margaret Ellen Jones, 37, entered the plea Wednesday. She faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years at sentencing June 11.
According to her plea agreement, Jones and John Andrew Blaes, 49, contacted a 15-year-old North Carolina girl on the Internet and traveled to her home to bring her to Maryland.
Prosecutors say Jones and Blaes sexually abused the girl and used a camera to document the abuse. The images were posted online.
Blaes pleaded guilty to the conspiracy and to transporting a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct. He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 19.
