Md. Hospital Locked Down While Police Probe Death
BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say Suburban Hospital is locked down while detectives investigate a suspicious death and the hospital says an employee was assaulted at the hospital.
Police spokeswoman Lucille Baur says police got the report of the death on the grounds of the hospital in Bethesda on Saturday morning, but she did not have further details about what happened.
In a statement, the hospital says an employee was assaulted at the hospital on Saturday morning. The hospital says staff and patients are safe, but the emergency room is closed and visitors and patients should not go to the hospital.
