Maybe President Obama was right to wear a Sox Cap!!!

President Obama took a lot of heat for pulling out a White Sox cap while throwing out the first pitch at the Nationals Home Opener in DC.  However, Ken Weinman of The Ed Norris Show made a good point.  Maybe the president was correct in pulling out the cap simply because of Mark Buehrle's amazing opening day play.

Mark Buehrle made the 'play of the year' on opening day.  It was an amazing feat.  Hockey fans may see images of Lemieux, basketball fans will see glimmers of Jordan.  Someday a kid will remember Buehrle.  Smooth.  Unreal.  Maybe, just maybe, the president had a premonition that justified the slight to the Nationals.  The ball bounces off Buehrle's leg and bounces towards the first base line.  Buehrle grabs the ball with his glove and tosses it between his legs to get the out.  As Ken said 'This is bad-ass.'
