BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Maryland is expected to see snowfall Thursday night into Friday morning.
WJZ's Weather Team is tracking the latest models.
The National Weather Service said that 2-4 inches of snow can be expected to fall throughout the state.
Here's a timeline of when snow is expected:
Thursday Night: There's a chance of snow and sleet between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., then some snow, with low temperatures around 30 degrees.
There is a 100 percent chance of rain, with new snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Friday: Cloudy skies with snow and sleet likely before 1 p.m. and a chance of rain as well. Highs will be near 38 degrees, with a bit of wind, and 70 percent chance of precipitation.
New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch is possible.
Friday Night: The night will continue to be cloudy with a chance of rain, snow and sleet before 1 a.m., then some chances for rain. Lows will be around 34 degrees with some northeast wind that will become calm throughout the night.
There is a 50 percent chance of precipitation.
