Many In D.C. Area Still Without Power After Storm
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Many residents in the Washington area are still without power following a fast-moving storm last week.
As of 6 a.m. Monday, Pepco was reporting on its website that about 300 were without power in Montgomery County. Six customers in Washington, and six customers in Prince George's County also were without electricity.
In Montgomery County, customers say they have been piling on blankets and moving in with friends or relatives.
Company President Thomas Graham says some customers may get their power back Monday.
Unlike last year's storms, Wednesday's storm delivered wet and heavy snow that weighed down power lines and trees.
