Water Restrictions Lifted In 2 Md. Counties
LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says mandatory water restrictions for all customers in Montgomery and Prince George's counties have been lifted.
Power has been restored to water filtration plants.
WSSC's water is safe to drink, but the utility had put restrictions in place after Friday's storms to make sure it could produce and distribute enough water for hot days and have reserves for fire hydrants.
