Man Taken To Shock Trauma Following Work-Related Accident

UNION BRIDGE, Md. (WJZ)— A  man was rushed to Shock Trauma after being  run over by a skid loader Monday afternoon.

Just after 2 p.m., sheriff's deputies responded to Lehigh Portland Cement Company, located at 675 Quaker Hill Road, for reports of an injured man.

Steve Fleming, 46, was monitoring equipment underneath a conveyor belt when a skid loader reportedly backed over top of him.

Fleming has been taken to the University of Maryland Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he remains in serious condition.
