Man In Critical Condition After Smoking In Hospital Bed
HAVRE de GRACE, Md. (WJZ) -- A man is in critical condition after lighting a cigarette in his hospital bed at Harford Memorial Hospital.
According to police, 60-year-old Steven Bock ignited a small fire beside the bed; an oxygen mask and blanket were on fire. Because he was on oxygen, the fire was able to ignite and spread easily.
Bock was transferred to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center and is in critical condition.
