Man Charged With Stealing From Vehicles

FINKSBURG, Md. (AP) -- The Harford County Sheriff's Office says a Joppa man has been charged with dozens of offenses after items, including $70,000 in cash, were stolen from vehicles last month in Finksburg. 

Robert Petr, 35, is charged with theft, conspiracy and rouge and vagabond, among other offenses. He was arrested Monday and is being held on $100,000 bail. 

Court documents say on April 15 and 16, 18 vehicles on Deer Park Road were broken into. From one vehicle, $70,000 in cash and an iPad were taken. 

Deputies say they found new electronics, receipts and large amounts of cash in Petr's home when it was searched.
