Man Charged With Making, Selling Homemade Liquor
SELBYVILLE, Del. (AP) -- A 35-year-old man has been arrested for making and selling homemade liquor in Delaware.
A spokeswoman for the state Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement says Reese A. Carey was charged with selling liquor without a license and other charges.
Agents seized 16 quart jars and three pint jars of the illegal alcohol from Carey's car. They later obtained a warrant to search his house.
Authorities confiscated several items used to prepare homemade liquor.
Two telephone numbers listed for Carey were disconnected.
