Man Charged After 130 Marijuana Plants Are Found
MAUGANSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a Sharpsburg man has been charged with drug offenses six months after about 130 marijuana plants were found in a building in a strip mall in Maugansville.
Chad Frobauck, 32, surrendered Monday after learning a warrant had been issued for his arrest. He was released Tuesday on $35,000 bond.
According to court documents, in August, authorities found the marijuana plants in a building that was leased for a computer business. The records say fluorescent lights were positioned over numerous small marijuana plants, and there were a fanning system and timers for the lights.
