Man Aboard BWI-Bound Flight Charged With Assaulting Passenger & Air Marshal
LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ)—A man is charged with assaulting a federal air marshal on board a plane bound for BWI Thurgood Marshall airport.
WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun, reports the incident happened Sunday night as the Delta flight from Atlanta was landing.
Prosecutors say William Barna, 34, of South Carolina hit another passenger and then assaulted the air marshal.
He will spend 28 days in an inpatient alcohol program.
