Lax It Up...

I'm not sure I can name five things I'd rather do on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon than watch lacrosse at it's finest. I made it down to College Park to see the Terps host Navy. Maryland cranks off a big win and gets a 'lil firepower from one of my favorite Boys' Latin Lakers of all-time...Mr.. Travis Reed. Four crafty, nasty, dead-eye, lefty rockers from the best "time and room" magician I've seen in a long time. Whip it good Reed - whip it good! Great to see a number of ex-Lakers and a ton of talent from all over the MIAA representing both programs. Great game. Great atmosphere. Nice job Terps!

I guess the only down side was watching Navy take a hit...always one of my favorite teams to watch throughout the spring. Navy and Hopkins still ahead in a game that will have serious post season ramifications. Stay tuned laxers...

...BTW...I dropped in on Homewood on my way back into Baltimore. I made it just in time for the 2nd half of Homecoming vs. Albany. Have the Jays found a second wind off of the legs of some really talented youngsters? 19...we want more!
