BLOG: Last November Weekend

Tonight should become mainly clear and continued breezy as drier air continues to filter into the region thanks to a stiff west wind. Temperatures should bottom out in the upper 20s as this is a much cooler airmass. Temperatures to the north and west of the city should easily fall into the lower 20s.<!----><!----><!---->

Tomorrow the wind should continue to be gusty as the low pressure system is now over central Quebec while a high pressure system is near the central Gulf of Mexico coast. Wind gusts should again approach and perhaps surpass 20-25 mph. There will be plenty of sunshine, but the cooler airmass firmly in place now in combination with the low November sun angle will allow temperatures to only get into the mid 40s.<!----><!---->

Another chilly night Saturday night and start to the day Sunday. Plenty of sunshine and the pressure gradient force will relax a bit as the low pressure system in Quebec will drift to the north and weaken. With the cool start to the day and the cool airmass continuing to be in place, expect mid 40s to be all the area can get to for highs.<!----><!---->

Monday should continue to be dry and a bit milder as high pressure drifts to just offshore of New England and the wind shifts to the south. Tuesday and Wednesday looks to be wet as a slow moving cold front approaches the area. This front will become nearly stationary as waves of low pressure form along it as well as the high pressure ridge to the east of the area is stubborn and does not move too much. If this system is slower, Tuesday could be a fairly mild day, easily well into the 50s or even the 60s.
