Jerry Coleman: Ravens OTA & Suggs Update

The Ravens wrap up the last week of voluntary organized team activities this week. Coach John Harbaugh addressed the media after the OTA's as he mentioned the practice coming up next week- which is mandatory - and how the rules change, when the clock starts. Since the practice next week will be mandatory for the players, everybody should be on board- except Ray Rice(franchised) - and they should continue to build team strength and chemistry as they get ready for Training Camp.

Among the players who were not at the voluntary OTA. this week , were linebackers Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs due to injury, Jameel McClain, and Brendon Ayanbadejo. Running back Ray Rice held out due to his contract. Some other notable player's who did not attend were safety Ed Reed, tackle Jah Reid and cornerback Asa Jackson ( Who has yet to graduate.)

Even though these players were not at the voluntary workouts they will be putting in one-hundred and ten percent next week. The Ravens do not have to worry about that. The only concern for them right now is the injury to Terrell Suggs. Harbaugh was asked about the reports about him getting injured playing basketball. He chuckled and said "Well that it not relevant, and the next step for him is rehab." The Ravens expect him to be back sooner than later, but they have to make sure they do not rush him back and then he is sidelined again.
