Its one of my biggest pet peeves of fans that call in to the show.  Lets trade 3 players that nobody wants for an all-star player.  The latest is that the Orioles should trade for a front-line pitcher but you can't trade Gausman or Bundy.  I don't have a problem with fans that say they would be willing to trade our top 2 prospects to get a number 1 pitcher, I just don't agree with that philosophy with the Orioles right now.

I'm not willing to move one of my top prospects for a 3 month rental, or for a player with a huge contract.  I don't want a bad contract in a trade that could prohibit the Orioles from resigning Chris Davis or Matt Wieters.  I want the Baltimore Orioles to be in contention every year. I don't want to give up a prospect that could help us down the line, for a player who can help us today.  We need to build the farm system up and hopefully grow some arms.
