Is NFL Overdoing its coverage?

I love the NFL, I wait all year for the start of the season and hate when the season ends.  However there is a saying 'too much of a good thing'.

Later tonight on both ESPN and the NFL Network they will release the schedule for the 2010 season, both airing at the same time, so you can choose with network releases the schedule better.  Again I love the NFL but I really don't care when the Ravens play the Steelers because I already know they play twice, and I'm certainly not going to waste 2 hours watching something I can look up on the internet, in about 10 minutes.  The NFL in general over does everything like the combine, watching guys do cone drills not compelling TV, the draft is 3 days now at this rate the draft will be an entire week 1 round a day.  In a way I guess it shows how popular the NFL has become that 2 networks would air its schedule release, you definitely don't see that with baseball, basketball or hockey, but for me the NFL is most interesting from Week 1 to Super Bowl Sunday everything else I could do without.
