I'm sure it's just a coincidence ...

I am sure you are all sick of me beating the "I love football, but hate the NFL" drum ... but it just seems to keep coming up.  So Ben Roethilisberger met with Roger Goodell.  So he met with the Rooneys.  So he is going to be suspended.  GREAT!

And the Rooneys say that they won't do anything until the NFL decides what they are going to do ... and Roger Goodell says he will wait a week to "review the case" and be "thorough" ... and I'm sure that it's just a fluke coincidence that after one week, the NFL Draft will be over and then we can put the bad stuff back on center stage.

See I credit the NFL for trying to turn a profit at every corner, I do!  Remember, I am a capitalist!  So when the NFL took the draft to primetime for the first time ever, they NEED it to be a success.  Is there a thought that the negative press of Big Ben would turn primetime viewers away from the NFL because of this little sex scandal????  Oh you bet there is!!!! So let's play the "I need time to review the facts" card ... good one Goodell!  All the facts are now public knowledge!  We know what you know!  Make a call!!!!!  Why do you need to wait????  This is so transparent it bugs the hell out of me!  If he is going to be suspended, just get it over with.  We all love swift justice!  Roger Goodell obviously prefers "timely" justice!

This is why I HATE the NFL, but still love football!
