How Sweep it is!!

September 2-4 1974.  That's the last time the Oriolesswept a three game series against the Red Sox at home (this is a little missleading because the O's swept a four game series against Boston in 1998 but its something so back off!!).  So long ago that Paul Anka was on top of the pop charts.  For one weekend, this was the Oriole team that all fans had hoped for.  Clutch hitting and good pitching lead to wins.  Kevin Millwood is still winless but he had another great outing.  Miguel Tejada has seven multihit games in his last 10, and where would this team be without Ty Wigginton.  He leads the team with 8hrs and had one of the best bunts I ever saw yesterday.  Lets just hope this can continue tonight at Yankee Stadium.  Let's face it CC Sabathia has stopped a win streak or two in his career.
