High Winds Expected Sunday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for Sunday.
Westerly winds ahead of an approaching cold front will increase to 20 to 30 miles an hour Sunday with an occasional gust of 40 miles an hour.
The combination of low relative humidities and gusty winds will produce an elevated fire threat late Sunday afternoon and evening. Outdoor burning is not advised despite high fuel moistures.
