Hey Ravens Fans, be happy with what you got

I have been a huge Ravens fan ever since they moved here in 1996, and being a fan of the Ravens I have been subjected to the lackluster play at quarterback.  When Vinny Testaverde left after the 1997 season its gets real ugly real quick.  Names like Tony Banks, Eric Zeier, Jim Harbaugh (sorry John), Anthony Wright, Stoney Case, Scott Mitchell and of course who could forget Kyle Boller.  So it baffles me when people get upset with the play of Joe Flacco.

I did some research and I want to show the fans that Flacco may be the best QB the Ravens have ever had...

First stat: in 2 seasons Flacco has 6,584, that is third all time in Ravens history and is only 1,262 from being in a tie for first place which barring injury should happen in the first month or month and a half.

Second Stat: Flacco has 35 Touchdowns only 10 behind Boller for second in the franchise record books.  Last Stat Flacco has 20 wins as a QB, tied with Boller for most by a QB with the Ravens.  So in 2 seasons he has done more than other QBs for the Ravens had multiple seasons to do.

Also a stat that jumps out at me are the Playoff victoires for Flacco has had 3 in 2 years, and I know you could argue the playoff games have not been the strongest outings for Flacco however there are several QBs that don't have has many playoff wins as Flacco.  Here is a list of Active Quarterbacks that have less than 3 playoffs wins.  Carson Palmer (0), Vince Young (0), Matt Ryan (0), Aaron Rodgers (0), Tony Romo (1), Marc Bulger (1), David Garrad (1), Chad Pennington (2), and Mark Sanchez (2).  Most of these guys have had several chances to get more wins than what they have.

Like every Ravens fan I want another Super Bowl 2000 seems like such a long time ago (I was a freshman in high school).  However it's not all on Flacco I could point to a couple of things last year on why the Ravens were just 9-7 and most werent because of Flaccos play.  The one thing I would say to Ravens fans is have patience, will Flacco be as good as Manning and Brady? probably not but there is no reason he can't be on the tier right below them but every time you want to blame Flacco for something just remember it could be a lot worse *cough* Boller *cough*.
