He Must Be a Great Teammate
Albert Haynesworth decided to take the money and run. One year after signing his $100 million contract with the Redskins, he's not happy and he wants out. Seems he was promised that he would play in a 4-3 defense in Washington. That changed when Jim Zorn was fired and Mike Shanahan replaced him. Shanahan wants to bring in his own system and on defense he wants to play a 3-4.
Shanahan gave Haynesworth an out too. He told him the Skins would release him in exchange for not paying him the $21 million bonus he was due April 1st. Well, Albert wants his cake and he wants to eat it too. He took the bonus and still wants out, demanding a trade through his agent. When teammates are being quoted calling you out it's not a good sign.
Haynesworth is a helluva player, but I don't know that I want this kind of guy on the Baltimore Ravens.
