Haynie & Zinno Power Rankings Week 14
For the first time since week 2, neither the Falcons or Texans are atop our rankings. Let us know your thoughts.
WEEK 14
1. PATRIOTS – is anyone really surprised at how easy they make it look?
2. BRONCOS – Peyton is on a collision course with Tom Brady once again.
3. FALCONS – doubts may be starting to creep in about how good they are.
4. TEXANS – even though their record is the best in the AFC, they aren't playing like it.
5. 49ERS – will play their next two games on SNF. Let's see how Kaepernick responds.
6. PACKERS – made it easy to forget how that Seattle loss will affect the playoff seeds.
7. COLTS – Andrew Luck doesn't have the #'s, but he plays like the Rookie of the Year.
8. GIANTS – hung 52 on the Saints & will go for a sweep of the NFC South in Atlanta.
9. SEAHAWKS – can take over first place in the AFC West with help in the next 2 weeks
10. RAVENS – fired Cam Cameron after back-to-back losses for the first time since '09.
11. BEARS – the wheels may come off the wagon. Don't know if they will recover.
12. REDSKINS – RG3 has proven he knows how to win. Let's hope he can still play.
13. STEELERS – the return of Big Ben proved little results and opened the door.
14. VIKINGS – if Adrian Peterson wins the MVP, it makes the NFL a better league.
15. COWBOYS –they keep just hanging around. It sets up the disappointment later.
16. BENGALS – blew a 10-point lead and missed a chance to take control of destiny.
17. RAMS – back at .500 again, although the playoffs may be out of reach.
18. BUCCANEERS – sliding out of the playoff race after taking a bad home loss.
19. JETS – embarrassing that they are still in playoff contention. They are awful.
20. SAINTS – among the rest of their problems, their defense is still terrible.
21. BROWNS – finally putting it all together. Well, putting it all together for the Browns
22. BILLS – their offense continues to struggle and it may be time for a QB change.
23. DOLPHINS – remember when they were 4-3? Neither do we. Lost 5 of last 6.
24. LIONS – 8 of their 9 losses have been by one score or less, including 4 of 5 in the division.
25. CHARGERS – not even the most ardent Chargers fans would have predicted the win in Pittsburgh.
26. PANTHERS – Cam Newton finally looks like the QB from last year. But it's too late.
27. TITANS – have given up the second most points in the league. Not good.
28. EAGLES – ended an 8-game losing streak with surprising, gritty win.
29. CARDINALS – have lost 9 in a row & now Ken Whisenhunt may be on the hot seat.
30. RAIDERS – the "Black Hole" has turned into just that – a void of football.
31. CHIEFS – face the Raiders next week for AFC West cellar-dwelling rights.
32. JAGUARS – the number 1 overall pick is just three losses away. So is Los Angeles.
