Harford Community College Student Said To Be Suicidal Taken Into Custody
BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ)— Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to Harford Community College on Monday morning after a student expressed suicidal/homicidal thoughts.
Just after 10:30 a.m., a male student was near the campus library when he alarmed medical personnel, who then contacted the Sheppard Pratt Mobile Crisis Team, who then called police.
Police took the man into custody without incident by 11:20 a.m. He was then transported by deputies to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for evaluation.
No weapons were found, and no charges are pending at this time.
