Hanley needs to grow up
Over the last couple days this story about Hanley Ramirez has kind of taken on a life of its own. For those who don't know Ramirez was benched because of his lack of effort when chasing down a ball he accidently kicked into the left field corner. After that there was a war of words between Ramirez and his manager Fredi Gonzalez and the situation became very ugly very fast. Then an article came out today about 2 Hall of Fame baseball players telling Ramirez that he had to apologize to his teammates. I have a huge problem with this, but let me explain. Hanley Ramirez needed to be told by someone that he needed to apologize. Hanley should not have had to been told to say he was sorry for his actions both on and off the field. He should've known he was in the wrong. First of all if he was the true leader of the Marlins he never would have shown his lack of effort on the field. Then to talk down to his manager like that after the game is totally unacceptable. Ramirez has the talent to be one of the best players in all of baseball but if he doesn't grow up and fast he might become a new problem child in major league baseball.
